Now that you have seen a couple of my mom’s favorite pictures, I feel much closer to you.

Every Brazilian needs to have a nickname, mine is Bisnaga - a kind of bread or baguette. Why? That's a long story.

I'm a Creative Director with 5 years of experience in US marketing (green card holder) and over 10 years working with global brands. My work is a mix of a fresh insights, unexpected execution and passion. The curiosity, strategic and lateral thinking have been driving my career.

I started to work in 2003 in São Paulo and in 2007 I had an opportunity to work at Ogilvy Brazil. During my 7 years there, I won more than 30 awards, I was recognized as the fourth most awarded Art Director in the world and we were named the Agency of the Year at the Cannes Festival. I had the privilege of working with the most talented and fun creatives for the company’s key accounts: Allianz Insurance, Volvo, GRAACC, UNICEF, Coca Cola, Dove, Hellmann's and others.

In 2015, I moved to Energy BBDO in Chicago for my first international experience. I have worked with  global brands such as Bud Light, SC Johnson, Wrigley, Bayer, PepsiCo as well as American Egg Board, Ocean Spray, Avocados From Mexico and Off The Street Club (NGO). In the three years there, I was happy to create award winning work for almost all clients I worked for. Also, I'm honored to have won 3 of 4 pitches the agency participated in. 

Last year I moved to New York to join a hot and independent agency - JOAN Creative. The experience in a startup agency was great, we fought against big agencies, we won some pitches and really helped refreshing some traditional brands. 

As a creative leader, I love to work with a group that is as diversified as possible. It's always great to work with people who are fun, have big ambitions and even bigger hearts. My goal is to make my teammates each time a little bit more comfortable with sharing the most absurd solutions and insights.

What's next? I don't know. I'm looking for ANY TYPE OF CHALLENGE to be solved with creativity. Could be with you or at NASA, FBI, Hollywood, a non-profit foundation, a startup or any interesting entertainment company.
